An exceptional career path; trained makeup artist and beautician, Maud graduated from the ELYSEE MARBEUF beauty school, going on to perfect her training with MAKE UP FOREVER. From the year 2000 on she specialized in Permanent Makeup, following a number of training courses abroad.
She subsequently worked in close collaboration with leading practitioners and plastic surgeons, working in various clinics while at the same time managing a space dedicated to Permanent Makeup in a medical practice.
This brought her to work on a regular basis with major cancer specialists, striving to improve the daily lives of female cancer sufferers.
In 2013, increasingly aware that Permanent Makeup deserved a specific place in which she could develop her passion, she opened the first centre entirely dedicated to Permanent Makeup in the heart of the capital’s 16th district – and MAUD PERMANENT MAKEUP was born.
Thanks to social media, blogs and press articles singing her praises for the quality of her work, she attracted the interest of numerous beauticians who wished to discover the exclusive techniques that she had invented such as HAIRSTROKE by Maud (eyebrows with hair strokes), CAT EYES by Maud (eye liner shading) and the globally-acclaimed technique CANDY LIPS by Maud (outline of the lips with natural shading - 3D 3-colour volume). The next step was to open in 2014 the first training school entirely dedicated to Permanent Makeup in Paris’s 16th district - L’ECOLE INTERNATIONALE DE MAQUILLAGE PERMANENT - which today counts some +6000 trainees.
The unquestionable success of Permanent Makeup in France led to the opening of a second school dedicated to micropigmentation in AIX EN PROVENCE in the South of France : opened in 2013 this establishment is the second to proudly display the name MAUD MAQUILLAGE PERMANENT. In 2016, the 3rd studio opened in Nancy (east of France).
Bearer of exclusive distribution rights in France, Monaco, Belgium, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria for the AMIEA brand (manufacture MT DERM – world leader in machines and pigments associated with Permanent Makeup) Maud opened in 2015 the first Show Room entirely dedicated to the range of AMIEA’s products used in the art of Permanent Makeup.
It is with great pleasure that Maud can today announce the opening of her 4th MAUD MAQUILLAGE PERMANENT center in Lyon. This will satisfy a growing demand from clients not only in the middle of France but also from Switzerland.
Master trainer and conference host, Maud today travels the globe to present her exclusive techniques at conferences dedicated to Permanent Makeup (BERLIN - MOSCOW - ISRAEL - BRAZIL).
She is also organizer of the main Permanent Makeup conference in France which is held each year in both Paris and Aix en Provence – a conference bringing together the stars of Permanent Makeup from across the globe (Ennio ORSINI - Elena NIKORA - Olga KRAVCHENKO – Roberta PEIXOTO – Toni BELFATTO – James OLAYA). The MASTER CLASSES concept allows professionals to discover and learn more about new techniques from abroad.
Maud wishes above all to bring FRENCH PERMANENT MAKEUP into the spotlight, and to accompany Permanent Makeup professionals from France.
Maud personally participates on a daily basis in a Facebook forum, allowing all those in need of assistance to benefit from her expert opinion in obtaining precise answers to precise questions.
